ABOUT ME
Welcome back!!! I am very excited to be a part of Keene ISD since 2014 as teacher and coach. I will be teaching 7-8th grade Health, 6-8th grade PE, and coaching high school volleyball, basketball, and track. I look forward to meeting all of my students and parents.
I graduated from Conroe High School in 2006 and Southwestern University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in sports management. In December of 2013 I graduated with a Master of Science degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in coaching from Texas Woman’s University. Following my masters degree, I decided to apply for my teachers certification to become a teacher. My passion has always been to work with students and athletes.
I love working for Keene because of the family atmosphere. The kids are great, the teachers and faculty are awesome, and the coaches are a joy to work with. Keene has become like a second home for me away from home. Being a teacher and coach is something I love to do and will enjoy for the rest of my life.
Outside of basketball, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, plus shopping. I am a huge sports fan and I really appreciate the opportunity to be a part of athletics. My favorite sports teams are the NY Knicks, NY Yankees, and NY Giants because I love New York! This is my motto as a teacher and coach “work hard, have fun, and get better”!
